Google Advertising
I was just posting a response on a thread when I noticed the Google ads next to the "Quick Reply" box at the bottom of the thread.
All four ads were for magicians. Three were described as "corporate" magicians; one was merely funny and entertaining.
I feel snubbed.
Don't hire these people, please.
If you need a corporate magician, or a funny and entertaining magician, hire me.
Thanks.
(Moderators: this is not a shameless, contrary-to-policy solicitation of business; it is merely an expression of surprise at an amazing coincidence. At least, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.)

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper, and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger, those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers, and you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.
It's not as much of a coincidence as you would like to think - Google ads (called adsense https://www.google.com/adsense/) looks at the content of the page when serving ads to figure out what sorts of ads it should send to the user. It probably saw your username and therefore sent you ads related to magicians.
