Google will now do math and conversions for you. Just go to www.google.com and type in anything like:
"4 plus five - 7"
"horsepower in watts"
"speed of light in furlongs per fortnight"
"kg per mm in pounds per in"



[Edit: posted here since lots of folks here seem to ask here about spring rates, hp, etc. Mods feel free to move.]

Unrelated to the calculator, but Google is also smart enough to recognize when you are searching for a phone number (reverse lookup) and search the phone book. Click here for example

yahoo actually uses google's search technology.

yahoo also copied google's search UI. look at the search tabs!
