I'm sure this is really old news, but I am having a great time playing with Google Earth (earth.google.com)! I'm going around to all the places I know and the places I want to go to and taking a peek. I almost feel creepy

I can't believe they can provide it all free. I guess it's a game of name recognition more than anything.

It is NOT amazing. It is 5-7 years out of date! The new state hwy near my office that opened a few years back is not even on there.

google earth uses the same aerial photos that mapquest has been using for what 6-7 years or more? All they did is add a pretty interface that runs kinda slow.

How can people even complain about a free program that lets you browse the globe whether its 5-7 year old maps or not. Who else offers a superior program for FREE.
