Default Gopro Hero 3+ Black edition

Hello,

I have recently purchased a Gopro Hero 3+ Black edition.

I would like to know what you guys shoot in? I'm mounting the camera in-between seats, just in front of rear window pointing forward. i don't have a clue what i should be shooting in to be honest. what gives me the best shot for an in car angle using go pro?

Also… my exhaust is extremely loud! knowing this and wind noise am i best with an external mic? or even duel external mic.. one for boost noise and one for exhaust. Has anyone done this on here before? I've seen on youtube clips but thats about it.

any links to previous threads would be great as I've searched but I'm not getting much but that could just be me!?

Thanks a lot,

Jamie

I use to put a Hero 2 in between the seats with a modifry mount. Then I bought 6 Hero 3 Silver editions to slap them all over the car but I couldn't decide of any good spots. I decided the best option for me was to use 1 camera in between the seats, so that's what I have now.

I use a sticky mount right on the secret compartment. Gives a good view of the road ahead and my driving. If you have a suction cup mount you can experiment with all kinds of weird angles.

Is your camera mounted in the same position as mine then?

How long do you find one battery lasts? Ive got a 64gb micro SD so that should be okay right?

Just for the odd track day and some on road use as and when..

Have you had any experience with an external mic that splits so you could pic up boost with one and exhaust with another?

No not at all. I need to get the audio technica atr 3350 it seems to be the best external mic for the go pro at a great price. The go pro mic is terrible for track use, when I have used all I can hear is it moving around Lol even with the skeleton case you hear it move around

Would this case not be better for you then?

http://shop.gopro.com/EMEA/mounts/th....html#/start=1

Also where did you hear about the 3350 being so good? It has 4 out of 5 stars on amazon but some of the reviews don't sound so kind!

has anyone on here tested a few and come to a decision? i'm a complete novice at all this so just want to get as much info before i purchase because i normally just buy something then end up buying again
