Finally!
Ok, here's the low down.
The Good:
Screen. The back lit screen is beyond amazing. It has great color, very bright and sharp
and big viewing angle.
Packaging. It super small when folded and when unfolded it is a bit longer than the original
Game Boy, though slightly narrower and thinner.
Ergonomics. It fits well in one's hand and and the buttons are an easy reach.
Battery. Li-ion Battery with ten hours of play time with the back light on. Eighteen with the
light off.
The Not So Good:
NO HEADPHONE JACK! What the hell it that?!! You need to get a $15 adaptor to use headphones.
That sucks so hard. Why couldn't they have added a ten cent jack?

It should play exactly the same games as the old game boy advance. I'll have to pick one of these up soon. The old one with the crappy light sucked. I just saw the new one today, it's a lot smaller than the original and looks so much better.

got mine today too, looks like some stores are selling them earlier. i know best buy, ebgames (pre-orders), kmart are selling them early.
for anyone that cares compusa is giving a free game starting sunday (giant gear X or something like that). it might be hard to get one though.
if you want one i'd try to get one this weekend before word gets out that stores are selling them early, the ebgames guy said they were sold through on pre-orders. so you might have to wait if you miss out on the launch.
i can't believe how compact it is! the light is awesome, i picked up metroid fusion and i can't get over how much fun the game is (basically like super metroid). I got the cube->gb cable and i can't wait till monday so i can try it out with Zelda!

Hey guys, last time I checked, this was a forum about S2000's, not Gameboys. If you want to do that, you may as well go to a videogame forum. No one cares about Yoshi's Island. Get GT3. BTW I do agree with the whole French Rifle thing. That was great stuff. But anyway, why all the videogames? Seriously, if you want to tune the S2000 you don't have, go to Gran Turismo 3.
