Default Got some new wrist bling

Picked up a new Madison limited edition. "A what?" you say. Madison is handmade by a local Denver watchmaker. Mine is 6 of 28 worldwide. He makes everything excpet the movement which he modifies from an ETA/Unitas manual wind. The case size is 42mm. It came with a black band so I installed the tan.

I don't know how much did the watch cost you. But had I been the owner of a rare, limited edition watch with only 28 units made, I would keep it in its original state and not modify anything with it.

The ones I've found are VERY reasonably priced. Great looking piece, the back reminds me of a Philippe Dufour.

By and large, if it's not made in Switzerland, some timepieces really get the shaft. . . but their lack of rep by some snobs can be your gain (as is seen here).

Good choice. I like the Model #3 myself.

Man, the more I look at that, the more I want one. I think if my car sells, I'll have to try to pick one up. Was it hard to get ahold of? I'd imagine with that low of a price and so few made, they'd have to sell very quickly.

How long until you get bored with it and sell it?

try the internet - not hard to find at all.

They look OK. It is clear the guy buys standard cases and doesn't put a whole lot into anything but decorating the movements, but he isn't asking tons of money for them, either, so that's cool.
