Just got my new Toshiba Satellite P25-5093 Laptop in today and was playing around with it. It has this huge 17 inch widescreen on it with great nVidia graphics but a conventional picture taken with a digital camera looks all warped on the desktop. Do any of you know where I can find great widescreen desktop wallpapers?

Make sure you get a extended warranty with that. The previous models of that wide screen edition had problems w/ overheating and slowing of the processing. I was going to buy that until a best buy employee told me to do a search and it was true. I am not sure if they fix this problem yet. But DEF. a nice computer!!

Nice site. That's the only one I could find with widescreen format wallpaper. Still nice though.

Couldn't you just take your picture into photoshop, crop the tops off a bit and it would scale correctly, or at least close?

I thought about getting that, but went with a smaller and lighter laptop.

Just didn't see the point in getting so large when the purpose was to be mobile

great computer, I am biased as I have no use for a laptop, and have put together many a pc and like being able to open it up and know whats going on....
My only problem with the larger screens on laptops is that it gives you a larger overall computer, why not take that extra space on the keyboard side and expand the keyboard.
just my $.02
