oops ya sorry gran turismo mode

 

I ran 7 laps and my best was 1:39 and no signs of improvement. It feels like the super-soft tires held better on the s2k than they do on the Elise.

 

yea this Elise has UBER lift off oversteer, just coming into a turn u let off the gas and woooosh shes sliding sideways, but its perfect underthrottle...its just not as predictable as the s2000's

 

so when is the next challenge?

 

i dont know why you guys dont but i love the elise, the oversteer is very controllable with partial throttle throttle.

Anything is cool with me, however, if we decided to go with a relatively stock car e.g. >350 hp, I think it would be more exciting if we limit ourself to sport tires (S3).

We should do something like a $150k limit and you can get whatever you want with it. Used cars and mods, a really fast stock car, whatever..... Then just race on the same track and we can share our set-ups and train of thought.

I was thinking the same thing last night.

Pick a monetary limit (100k?) which would be used for car (new only?) + mods and give some sort of HP limit as well (300?) and the pick a track and see who can do the best.

 

I will take the initiative on this next challenge as AP1 Racer won't be around until tomorrow.


The next challenge is:

Laguna Seca Raceway

100k limit on cars and modifications

Car can be new or used and any parts can be installed including tires and nitrous

Pretty much anything goes for 100k on Laguna Seca!


This should yield some very different set-ups
