Grandaddy of Instant Noodle Dead
Mr. Momofuku Ando (Wu Bai-Fu) died today at the age of 96. He's the founder of Nissin - Cup of Noodles inventor. He was born in Taiwan (though he'll never admit to being Chinese) during the Japanese occupation and invented the first instant noodle in 1971.
RIP - the dude that gave me years of stomach filling, money saving product. In fact, I was eating a Nissin instant noodle product when I read about his death.
Let us share our fond memories of instant noodles...

I used to eat those things right out of the package. Yum.

R.I.P. I will have a cup and a moment of silence in Momofuku Ando's honor today.
I still stock up on instant noodles when money's tight. Good thing I love 'em.
