I'm going to safely assume granny got away scot-free for use of deadly force. If the same scenario ever occured to anyone else (esp. here in our wonderful anti-gun state of Kaaa-li-for-nya), you can bet the D.A. will pin (and get) you for attempted murder.

Just saw this on the local news here in Dallas.. tons of viewers were calling in criticizing the police dispatcher for telling her to stop shooting the guy. LOL, she must have forgotten what state she's in.
this granny would go to jail for having a gun.
