Hey, you know what - just a game.

Anyway - Yes the officials can sometimes suck - but the suckage is impartial if you ask me.

Here is a quote from Dennis Dodd from Sportsline.com:

...Situation: Michigan State then made it to the Michigan 18. Smoker was sacked back at the 22. But the Wolverines were caught with 12 men on the field. Again, replays showed it to be a great call. But after that, everything broke down. The penalty was marked from the 22, where Smoker was sacked. According to Adams, it should have been marked from the original line of scrimmage at the 18. Because the penalty was not called right away, Michigan State took a timeout. It was a timeout Williams wouldn't have called if the penalty had been assessed right away and the clock stopped.

The dumbest play of the day was Smoker running the ball into the maw of the Michigan defense with 12 seconds remaining and no timeouts. Luckily, he got another chance from the two when he spiked the ball with one second left....

So in the big picture I think the bad calls balanced out. In the bigger picture - like I said before, just a game.

If you and your comments are an example of what U of M is now letting through its doors, it doesn't bode well for the quality of its applicants.
Doc, take a chill pill.
