I can't believe Gilbert Godfrey already cracked a few jokes about this.
meh Gilbert Gottfried is a comedian who knew him casually, and felt that Greg would've laughed at the jokes if he weren't dead.

I say either laugh at the jokes, or cringe and move on.

Greg was most known for his involvement with the Comedy Central Roasts. So Gilbert said something like "If Greg gets cremated, would it be considered the Greg Giraldo 'roast'?"

Tasteless but not so bad, IMO.

I know, I just don't like Gilbert Godfrey lol. I figured the reason he said that stuff was because that he knew Greg Giraldo would approve, them both being comedians and all but, I just think Godfrey is an annoying putz and his career should have fizzled out awhile ago. Everytime I hear his voice I cringe.

But seriously, RIP GG

How did that annoying little piece of poop ever make it famous anyhow?

Gilbert Godfrey...I STILL don't understand how he's still on TV. He should be on the street begging for changes.

I love Gilbert too. When the comedians themselves talk about who makes them laugh, his name is the first to come up. I heard them talk about how they sit in the clubs and watch Gilbert come out and do annoying material that totally pisses off the audience but makes all the comics roll on the floor.

Gilbert is a guy who you either get or you don't, but I have seen him live a couple times and he can be hilarious. His bit at the roast of Joan Rivers was great, and you should see his "dirty Jokes" special on Comedy Central.

And yeah, I think Greg Giraldo would have been fine with Gilbert doing jokes about him.
