I've pretty much taken the last 14 months off and I'm thinking about going back to work. It just seems like I've got too much to do to spend time working. Then again, extra money is always nice!

 

Yeah, I'm working, even overtime! With me it's either feast or famine, it seems

 

If I had a nickle for everytime Greg "was" going back to work....

 

I'm still retired, driving my stook whenever the mood strikes me; I just hope the market doesn't go South.

As with most rumors, there is a grain of truth to it, actually. I am self employed and a certified Project Manager doing large scale infrastructure IT projects and I interviewed with McDonalds today, in fact. I want this project BAD!! They are upgrading almost their entire corporate network to support multicasting and a bunch of high bandwidth applications. The interview went very well and I should know here by the end of the week for sure...

And before all the McDonald's jokes start, they are headquartered near Chicago...no, if I get this gig, I won't be wearing a Ronald McDonald outfit...so that rumor doesn't even have to get started...

So it looks like the 4 months that I worked last year and the last almost 6 that I have been off just goofing around are coming to a close one way or another. If this falls through, I have other irons in the fire, as well.

Oh boy!

hehe.. pretty competitive market.. better take out the piercings and dye the hair back to a natural hue, if you want that mall money. at least your stook isn't outfitted w/ a local pizza shops lighted sign. j/k..
