If GNN was booted and then allowed to come back under the promise of good behavior...then he has not been holding his end up:

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...c=606535&st=25

him chiming in and telling me to get the sand out of my va-jay-jay is not the best way to get back on my good side.

His sole purpose seems to be the kick sh*t in the fan whenever possible. He made his bed, he should sleep in it.

I wont personally attack him but I will defend my stances in debatable threads.

Forum policing is really getting out of hand. Off Topic forums should exist for the subject of that nature "Off Topic". If a moderator gets his feelings hurt and wants to ban somebody, that seems pretty ridiculous. Good Behavior? ha, what are we in prison here?

off topic is one thing, being outright belligerent for no reason and constantly kicking sh*t all over the place and calling it humor is another.

GNN dug his hole. whatever he gets from people is fair game IMHO. He did not filter his attacks on people's topics and replies, why should we cowtow to him all of a sudden. He railed against people, why does he get protective services now that he has his panties in a wad?

He came into this site and decide he was going to be person X now he wants to be person Y and we all of a sudden have to just deal with it. If he truly is person Y now, he is not showing it very well.

Agreed we should keep it civil but if he comes out of the box swinging like he has done in the past, I am not going to hold back on him.

He makes assinine comments, he should get assinine replies. If he wants to be "that guy", he is a big boy, he should be able to handle it.

The fact of the matter is, Primo, is that there were numerous people making personal attacks on me that were completely unjustified. They broke the terms of service multiple times and since I'm such a good member of the community I went ahead and reported the posts to help clean up the garbage on these forums.

I'm sad it came down to that, but some people are just down right immature. Maybe now they'll try to behave and get along just like I've always wanted and strived for.

understandable

you would have to admit, to some degree, that your choices in the past may have brought some of that on you.

I dont know the degree of the abuse you have received and I am sure some of it is uncalled for like you describe.

but it just seems like this is a "mess with the bull and get the horns" type of scenario to some degree.

I dont think you or I have ever gone the personal route on each other. I have disagreed with you in the past and found a good amount of humor in your stuff as well but sometimes it seems like you lambast on posts for no apparent reason and some people are not going to get it. those people are going to rail against you.

I think this thread is serving its purpose but people are going to want to express their opinions on it as well.

i personally think it's fine to expect people on here to be civil. i do question the legitimacy of GNNv1's supposed turnaround, especially in the context of his above comment. and yeah, i do think he brought a lot of the shit he gets on himself. one doesn't have to look very far to find a thread where he's made a comment about someone's mother, sexuality, or pet. but whatever. as far as i'm concerned, his opinions are moo (5 points if you get the reference); i'll play nice. i'd just as soon not have every thread littered with name calling and such.
