GT3 - Annoying features / characteristics of the game
So, I'm at 50%, and I got a C5R, which I already have. I also have two ZZII's - the Tommy Kaira - both my favorite cars to race with, but I'm getting duplicates.
What do you get annoyed at in GT3?
What do you get annoyed at in GT3?
1- AI
2- lack of speed (it does not give the feeling GT2 did)
3- somehow I am bored of it quickly
I also won 5-6 TTs from different races as well as many other duplicate cars.
4- I never use the exterior view to play but when I try it it only has one exterior mode and it is right behind the car which makes it impossible to predict what you are doing.

The AI is definitely the biggest problem of it all since day one ... Where are the days of GT2 when you can drift through corners? Damn, this game sux when you try to attempt a drift ... The speed gets so low, it's as good as getting outta the car and walking through the corner yourself. What a shame, where's the dignity of it all? Isn't it suppose to be a driving simulator?
1.) Duplicate cars (as you mentioned)
2.) No competition AI (as before stated as well)
3.) Flat people and camera flahes
3.) Series races that are way too long. I'd prefer stiff comptetition for 4-5 laps compared to no competition for 10 laps!
4.) Enduro races that are way too long (I know they are endurance races, but good god!)

AI sucks as previously mentioned.
Lack of torque curves shown for each car. How the heck are you supposed to tune the shift points (or is HP assumed to peak at redline now?).
Why have auto-drive in the pits? Just hit me with a penalty (black flag?) if I go over 50 MPH past the green lines. And as long as you're doing tire wear you might as well add gas tank management.
I want collision damage. Too easy to "cheat" on most tracks and drive unrealistically.
The Logitech wheel freezes up randomly (known issue now but I haven't seen the proper fix). Also you can't fine-tune the steering & pedal response (what is that Amateur, Experienced, Pro steering effect nonsense). I suppose you could tighten the range by "cheating" the motion during calibration.
Money becomes a non-issue in a very non-linear way. At the beginning of the game you're scratching for enough $$ to do an oil change and the next minute you're rolling in dough.
The driving license tests are mostly too easy.
I don't like the random cars you win for series. Should be one specific car per series.

1) Your HP drops in the longer series races, and there's nothing you can do about it. I bet the AI cars keep their horsepower rating. Towards the end of the series you can be at a significant disadvantage.
2) There seems to be less cars and less courses as GT2.
3) You can't change the color or appearance of your car, other than rims.
4) You should be allowed to save the game during an endurance race.
5) You should be allowed to tune your car in the pit stop.

1. AI (but I just use E-Brake some times, I haven't tried to turn off AI so I'm not sure how it is without it)
2. Only 1 exterior view which is really stupid and pointless
3. Long ass series races.
4. Random 1/4 selection of cars for winning a series/endurance race.
5. Super licenses are a b*tch and seriously pointless.
6. The stupid ass series races where you have to win with a Vitz. Come on, give me a break.
Other wise, I'm pretty satisfied with the game.
