Hey Steve, why can't we post our times? I find it makes some peeps give up, but makes others work harder. Probably the money thing eh'? Anyway, I'm done for now, that's why I wish I knew the others times...to see if I'm really done.

How are you going to tell if the person has only the mods allowed by just looking at a screen shot of the lap time?

Here's an idea,

Let people do any mods they want they feel will make the car run the fastest. If you change to those rules, I'll play too.

C'mon since when is this an "Honesty" question. Just be honest and there is no worries. You can tell there are no horsepower mods from the screen shot steve is talking about it shows car hp track and time. Just play by the rules. Next challenge we may do all mods you want competition for now just play wth the rules set forth.

Yeah but.... as someone told me, the weight and hp (Which is what I was going to check) won't reflect drivetrain mods, etc. I'm beginning to worry a little about this. :- And I can't just ask for a saved lap replay from all contestants...

And TrojanHorse, allowing all mods would eliminate cheating (I think?) since there's nothing left to cheat with, yeah you'd have the same maxed out car, but settings could still be tweaked etc. The contest would then be a test of driver skill AND race setup.

I'm worried about making sure the winners are legitimate (not that I don't trust you guys, but it would be nice to be able to say for sure to allay any worries that other contestants may have) -- any suggestions? You guys wanna adjust the rules of the Tournament?

I basically see two options to fix this:
1) Let people max out and tweek settings and race

2 Make this really easy and just make it a friendly competition. No money prizes. And keep the original rules.

Even though it's only twenty bones I think it made this into a more cutthroat competition than it needs to be. Since it's not very much money, lets just do it for no money.
