This challenge is in simulation mode, with TCS and ASM at default (5 and 10, respectively). All settings at default.

The Car:

Japanese Honda S2000 (NOT V-spec), NO MODIFICATIONS (ie do not use the tune shop whatsoever, and no oil change trick)

The Challenge:

Fastest time around Complex String (access via "Home" --> "Run and Settings" --> "Complex String")

I don't have way too much time... I just want to provide some fun, like a mini racing league, for the people of the S2000 community that also own PS2's

 

That sucks Vagabond. I'm only gonna try it if I can turn off TCS/ASM.


BTW, you should try it in the NSX-R (fully modded, no TCS/ASM). 4:10.XXX is my best.

Well, the point of the challenge is to see how well you do WITH TCS and ASM, since I know a lot of us like to play without it.. it's just a twist I'm throwing in ^__^

 

yeah, i did the challenge completely stock and got 5:20:517, which was my first run with a stock s2000, then i went and changed the oil, washed it, and then turned off the tcs and asm and got a 5:14:674. i am sure that i will get a faster time, but for now, that is all i have. i also beat the game, so i will get you some times soon... another good car is the renault clio sport fully tuned... it only makes 510 hp or something, but i managed a 4:22 i believe... not bad...

 

i just re ran the s2000, a new one of course, and got a 5:15:637... i think that is about my best...
