1080i on mine is a huge difference. The interface graphics do not improve but the in game graphics does, drastically. Colors are more vibrant and everything is nice and smooth.

How I made lots of $ quick is save enough to buy the Amuse S2000 (street version). Then I went to the Japanese Hall and ran the 1st Race there (don't remember the name of it) multiple times, between A-Spec and B-Spec. Each race will give you a good amount of credits plus bonus championship credits. I also sold the prize car, which is worth a lot.

I just completed my third license this morning...... i got some really funny car... a NIKE 2002 or something like that.....

I am not sure if my logic is correct but I thought I would do better at getting the cars from the licenses than trying to win with a $10,000 piece of crap.... like the used Integra type R that i bought (then I finished dead last in the 2 races i tried).

I am still using the joystick...no steering wheel yet.

 

Yeah I got that nike car too. After the I-B license test.

 

anyone else using HDTV Mode? while switching from race to race, my screen flutters for a bit (no-signal flutter).

im working on 2 hours of sleep.. even after importing my data from GT3 it took me almost 3 hours to get 2 more licenses! i have a string of bronze medals from here to mexico!

for my system, i have my steering wheel mounted to my coffee table and my pedals are ontop of this perforated anti-slip mat because i have hardwood floors.

 

I get the screen flutter too. I was told it's framerate drop. We're were seeing is the PS2 being pushed to the limit.

 

ahh thanks, i thought there was something wrong with either my ps2 or my tv.

 

Ah damn I was hoping the screen shake was only limited to the JDM version. I get it every now and then during replays and rarely in-game. From what I know its GT4 pushing PS2 to its maximum limit.

I can't wait for GT5 for PS3.
