depends on how you build..

i did the FF events with a stock civic type r w/ racing suspension/ racing IHE/ and brakes..

saved up enough to do the 3rd stage turbo while driving stock.. then did the civic battles

Driving like crap?

I just spent some time up at Best Buy playing on their Plasma/Logitech setup and while extremely fun to add in the wheel, I can't justify spending that much money on something I'll only use for one game.

New Logitech Pro vs. New Playstation? If I'm spending $150 then my money is on the PS2.

you need more than HP to win the races... skill + suspension can go a long way farther than pure HP

my first time i built a used 99 Skyline GTR R34.. built it to 909hp.. but was flying all over the place... i erased that save and restarted

thing i hate about this game is the computer cheat..

u literally have to place 1st of second between lap 0 or lap 1.5.... or else you'll never catch up..

I TRIED OUT ON TIMING WHERE I PLACED FIRST BUT MY OVERALL TIME IS SLOWER THAN THE TIME WHEN I PLACED THIRD WITH BETTER TIMING... THE COMPUTER CHEATS

I find if I take my time on the tests, then I do better. don't "overdrive" the car. you may just barely make it, but you will make it.

man.. this game is addicting.. for you broke people out there..

heres what im doin..

once you save enough to build and complete the amuse s2000, take it to the first japan championship... beat it.. not that hard.. then you win a touring 350z..

use that same 350 to b spec the series.. you can watch tv and do other things.. jus set the pace at 5 then you win $72,500 for the series, and you win another 350 that you can sell for $318,000

fun!

ps. a fully modified m3 really handles like crap compared to a fully modified S.. feels so heavy.. but sure looks pimp
I thought you could only win each car once...how do you win the 350 twice?

^u win the concept z by doing all the races in that championship again. it will ask if u want to clear the time or not....

the fastest money i found doing so far is to get a civic type r. then max out on all upgrades. go to honda's civic race. do all of it. the reward is a 93k car that u can sell and is repeatable.

just put it on b spec mode and the car will kill everything
