In 2002, in what will be the close of this chapter of Gumball 3000 the races will return to the original route in the film which was the 3,000 mile journey from New York to Los Angeles. This will take place around October to coincide with the world-wide launch of the Gumball 3000 computer game which will be available on pretty much every format including PS2 and the upcoming Microsoft X-box. Maximillion seems definite that this will be the last rally, but I wonder if the demand for spaces and the public thirst for it may drag another one out.
