Ironically, I was buying another gun on "The Day of Terror" (nothing to do with that days events), and went I went into the store I was shocked to see how packed it was with people buying weapons and tonnnns of ammo. Goes to show, "Don't Mess with Texas".

Anyone else experience this?

p.s. I was buying an additional concealed weapon, and I've used and already own a Kel-Tec .32, and love its size... Fits into the pocket of normal pants EASILY.. If interested, the below link shows the stats (and pic) of the weapon. btw-- their customer service is AMAZING.

I always read this differently. Seems like a sign of fear to me. Why are so many people afraid to go out without a weapon? Certainly the need isn't borne out by the crime statistics.

PS. I think that whole Luby's rationale has run out of gas too.

PSS. I'm not anti-gun. I'm just perfectly comfortable being in public without one.

Actually, I don't see anything I could do to stop a nuclear suitcase from hittin' me on the head.

So... don't carry if you don't want to. If you go, get trained and certified. Personally, I carry.

Since I can't carry a gun for a couple more years... I keep a Mag Light for these cases

All those who don't like guns; can I expect to see a large sign in front of your house that says : "Gun free home?"

I didn't think so.

Those who won't own guns benefit from those who will.
