well, consider how much he would have spent upfront for a ferrari, he did this over 15 years... 10K a year is a lot easier to waste than 200K up front...

Not a real FIAT unless it leaks fluids and breaks down once a month.

"Genius" has different meaning to different people. To me, a "genius" has to demonstrate an idea or things that are truely one of a kind, innovative, revolutionary, and even possibly impact the way people live and think. People like Einstein come to mind. This guy, while what he did is impressive indeed, is not a genius in my book. He did have a guts and patience to go through with it however. I think of him as what I call a "grinder" but a "genius," he is not.

I'm sure this dude's kids would have liked to see a little of that time...one of them will most likely set fire to that colossal waste of a life.

This video is as old as the internet, but cool none the less. I agree with a poster above. It would be easier to build a full size version in terms of time. Another poster said he wasn't "genius" because he should have spent more time making money. What, you think people are richer because they are smarter?...lololololololol Some of the brightest people I know are broke. Being rich is more about mentality than being smart. People are rich because they are willing to not follow the mold.
