this reminds me of a story...
a professor in medical school was giving a lecture. He was saying that semen is full of sodium chloride when an attractive female student interrupted him
"If this is true how come it does not taste salty?"
Right after she asked this she realized what she just implied and walked quickly out of the class.
The professor, cool as can be, said (before she reached the door)
"That's because the taste bud for salt is on the tip of the tongue, not the back of the throat"
