All the girls with whom I've had conversations about penises say that girth is more important than length. There seem to be reasonably reliable ways to estimate the length of a man's penis by looking at other body parts, since the body has a lot of symmetries. The example posted above, that the foot is the same length as the inside of the elbow to the wrist, is true (within an inch or so) for nearly everyone. Another symmetry of use to amateur astronomers is that the finger is approximately 2 degrees wide when held at arm's length; the hand width is 10 degrees, and the distance from pinky tip to thumb tip, outstretched, is 20 degrees.
