Ha ha O'Reilly OWNED!
Ha ha! Some of you guys keep me in stitches. I agree with whoever it was that said we should not call people dumbasses, but by reading some of the posts I can definitely understand why someone would say that. By no means am I saying I am smarter than anyone else, I am just a dumb fireman, but really, some of you should think about what you type. Its hilarious. I often show some of these political posts to my coworkers, who are not brilliant by any stretch, and they get just as much of a kick out of it as I do. So I know its not just me. So as not to hurt anyone's feelings, I am not going name anyone in particular, but you know who you are.

your argument makes absolutely no sense.
For instance, since I work at GE I would like to make an argument regarding Immelt. I have attended several meetings with him and met with him socially twice (company-related outings) and even in casual conversation he never talks about politics. That would be career suicide. His job is to lead GE and further its growth and reputation. He has absolutely no interest in directing NBC which way to report news. He job is to grow NBC's markets to capture ratings and make money. What do you honsetly think he does? You think he tells the senior vice president of NBC to make sure his journalists report to the right? Its a business and its purpose is to make money for GE and its stockholders. What kind of dillusional world do you live in in that you think executives for public corporations influence the companies political stance? Maybe Turner but he's a nutjob and does not count as a real human being. Get real man.
