I love the tape job ..... if the car is far enough, it looks like a good paint job.

So what was the point (or intent) for the tape? I don't get it.

The point of the tape is to protect the paint. Do you have any idea what your car would look like if you drove cross country without protection? Your bumper, hood, and fenders will look like they got shot up with an AK-47.

 

nice.....reminds me of driving from OR to WI....90 mph the entire way through MT...

 

And maybe even a lot of rock chips too

I just realized....that would be an awesome prank to pull on someone at an s2000 meet. Tape up their entire car!
