Default Halo for the PC

Does anyone know if this is going to happen?

A lot of people say Bungie's still working on a PC version, and others say it is xbox exclusive. Anyone have any real evidence?

Someone in my house actually owns an xbox and halo, but I can't seem to play it. I just can't handle not having a mouse & keyboard.
Also, co-op mode would be simply awesome over a LAN/Inet where each player can have their own monitor. Split screen is horrible! The game is awesome, it just needs a few polishing PC touches

From Gamespot...

"One Microsoft game that had its Mac future reassured today is Halo. To dispel doubts that arose after the Microsoft acquisition, Bungie showed off the latest Halo trailer at the keynote and announced that the game will appear on the Macintosh. This announcement also makes it much more certain that the game will make it to the PC, but it has not yet been revealed whether the previously announced Xbox version will ship first. "

Thanks! That's good enough evidence for me!

I want that game really bad for the PC!!!

Was so disappointed when MS bought Bungie...I have been waiting for HALO, for almost 2 years now...But can't bring myself to buy an XBOX when I bought a $400.00 video card to play HALO, before the XBOX came out.

Heard that it will be out for the PC in about 6 months.

I'm surprised it takes that long to port an Xbox game to the PC. After all, isn't the Xbox really just a souped up PC with an Nvidia 3D chip in it.
