Hand-me-downs at age 30+?
Would you accept barely worn jean from a brother in law who has outgrown them? My wife gets this pile of ****ing pants that my brother in law Rick has outgrown and says HERE.... I looked at her like WHAT THE ****!!!! Hand-me-downs sucked at age 5 I cannot imagine wearing someone else's yucky (but almost new) clothing...especially at age 32!!!!.?
Just my thoughts....anyone else have a view?

lol talk about your pride being taken from ya... cant really relate since im a only child, but i can imagine the pain of being offered hand-me-downs at that age. revolt! tell your wife your not gonna take that stuff and make a trip to your local salvation army!
Call me confused then.
I'm in my 40's and I get hand-me-downs from my teenage nephew.
For a great price (nothing!) it keeps me in very expensive jeans, so I can spend my money on such things as racing brake pads and R-compound tires!
I'm okay with the fact that I have kept myself in good shape and can slip into my nephew's pants! In fact I'm darn proud of it!

When I lived in Florida, I was part of a "clothing pool." I was part of a group of girls, all about the same size; every 6 months or so, we would go through our closets, pull out anything we hadn't worn and didn't anticipate wearing that season, and we would meet for dinner. After dinner, we would all scrounge through the huge pile of clothes, and whatever didn't go home with someone was donated to the battered women's shelter.
So in short, no, wearing someone else's clothes doesn't freak me out. Hell, in high school, we used to borrow each other's clothes all the time, so what's the difference?

Hell yes I'd wear them. I'm a tight bastard anyway and besides jeans feel better after they've been worn a few times. If the problem is that you don't like where they came from I can understand it.
