I spent several summers when I was younger at Tyndall AFB while my dad was doing his Reserve TDY. Loved driving by the flightline and watching the F15's fly overhead.

I flew my long solo cross country from W52 (Chapel Hill) fo FFA- the wright brothers memorial at kitty Hawk as a student in a C-152. I rent 172s and an Archer here in No Cal and enjoy the freedom of the skies...

u guys no doubt heard about the Wright brothers replica glider that failed to fly today. (no biggie, I still respect em for trying, and have more respect for the brothers for succeeding 100yrs ago)

well BBC had an article on it.
the original name was: Not quite Wright
the new name (not as good IMO): Wright place, wrong time
