Default Has anyone been to...

I'm going there in about 2 weeks and I was wondering if anyone has been there and have any comments about it. What's good, bad, ok? I'm going with 2 other friends (guy and girl) and we're in our early to mid-20's.

Any suggestions, yada, yada are greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Andre

I went there 4-5 years ago for a Spanish class.

Given the fact you operate under the conditions you learned, I can only speak Spanish 7-sheets-to-the-wind.

There's a whole bunch of clubs. They've all got various schemes to get you to spend money and drink (in that order).

1. Stay away from the travelling jello-shot lady. She's charging 50% more than the bar for the same amount of booze.

2. Get dinner at a mellow place; it's *usually* less. Ask around/shop around.

3. Buy your beer for the day at the grocery store.

4. Haggle for fishing tours.

5. Haggle Haggle Haggle.

6. If you get sick of Mexican food, head to Senor Greenberg's.

The drinking won't really be a problem cause we have all inclusive at our hotel, so I'm sure we're going to be having a lot of fountain tequila (BTW... I hate tequila... lol).

Is it better to travel by taxi or bus... or I should say... which is safer?
Acapulco... all taxi
Cancun... all bus
Cabo San Lucas... ????

Oh... of course... how were the women down there? I heard a lot of Cali people go down there?!?!?!?

Oh. . . .all-inclusive. I stayed at a Hotel right in-town.

Take the taxi, or the shuttle if they've got it.

Women? I went during the off-season, and mostly was hell-bent on boinking the chicks in my class. MILFs and girly-girls having a "girls-weekend-away" are your prime targets (of course).

The primo meat-market is during spring break, from what I've heard.

I've been there 3 times. Great weather always. Golf is expensive but a few courses are worth it. The bars donwtown will keep you up all night if you let them. I spent much $$$ and time at Cabo WAbo and Squid Roe. Take the Taxi but it's expensive if you are not close to the city. Do yourself a favor and take the ATV mountain ride.

Damn... it looks really nice over there. Good thing you posted some pictures cause I couldn't find any good ones on the web. The only thing that I'm iffy about is that I've heard that the ocean down there sometimes gets a little rough... but we'll see what happens.

Thanks for the photos...

Wow... I guess you really like it... lol. That's a good thing to read... haha. Golf won't happen for me cause, well, I just plain suck a$$ at it. I couldn't drive a ball straight for my life... so bad.

I've heard that Cabo Wabo is the place to be for the nightlife, so it's good to hear more good things about it from yourself as well. We're actually not close to downtown Cabo, but our hotel supplies free shuttle buses that drive us down there... so that's definitely a plus for sure.

And good thing you mentioned the ATV ride cause I almost forgot about those... should be interesting. I'm assuming they have Jet Skies too? Those are always fun too.

My pleasure. We were on Royal Caribbean's Vision of the Seas.

The Gigglin Marlin is fun, beware the Sunbraro! Fishing can be good or bad depending on the moon. Places in town will prepare the catch for $5 per person prepared several different ways. I think more women go to Cancun or Cozumel. We rented a jeep to get around. Jet skis are about $1 per minute.
