I have 10k I don't need to use at this moment and looking for some good returns (and maybe tax free as well). Anyone have any ideas/suggestions? I'm looking for less than 12 months in terms of investment period. Max return (but relatively safe).

I thought about CDs, corporate bonds, municipal bonds, even US Government bonds, but not sure which one makes more sense.
