Those stupid doctors! Even the foreign educated ones that are required to do residency in the US and pass the same boards as the US grads! How stupid can you be to use the most common DVT prophylaxis to prevent PE. I mean how stupid is that?

It appears that my dad has turned the corner. His vitals are perfect. If only we can keep him sedated a few more days. Today, my brother took him off the respirator and he's breathing on his own. We're looking now to getting him off IV nutrition in the next couple of days. Although my brother went to a 'lesser" med school (Tufts)than I did, I must admit that he's a superior physician than I am. Plus, he's the director of the ICU at his hospital, therefore, he's calling the shots.
