I've been watching since the first episode, too. It's a great show. The weekly shows on Sunday evenings are the only reason I have HBO.

Yep, same here. Never thought I'd use the DVR as much as do - it has every episode on it! The dialog is so cool! Love the way Trixie announced her last name - classic!

Great show. Was a little taken back by the language but it now seems to fit all the characters.

I watched some of it for the first time tonight. The dialouge was really distracting, it simply does not seem appropriate for the time period. Although I'm sure you get used to it very quickly.

I saw a special on the show about how the writers found that during that time, people did swear extensively.

I mean, they couldn't have picked better actors for the parts.

By the way, did anyone catch Ian McShane(Al Swearengen) on Bill Maher?

No, not really. It's about the Gold Rush in the Black Hills area of what became South Dakota during the late 1880's.

The plot is a beautiful thing; so well written and acted. I'd guess it would be tought to follow if you just jumped into an episode now. But after watching the series from the start...I'm hooked.
