Shit! She will be back man, the second you meet another girl or do something to improve yourself. Just totally cut her ass off, dont acknowledge her and when you talk to friends always answer something like this "Oh my X, Im sorry, I have forgotten about her, but I hope shes doing well" This will immediately get back to her and she will go apeshit, just watch my friend, just you watch.

Well, I sorta agree with Kyushin (shame on you, you didn't do your homework()):

Strike 1: You're 23, and have had a girlfriend. No serious girlfriends until you're ready to settle down and get married (read: after about 25-27). Anything else is the gynocracy in motion.

Strike 2: You were dating said girl for 4 years, which means that you started dating her when you were 19!!!!

Strike 3: Hopefully you're not living together, or else there's your 3rd strike. . .

What you did do, was play into her little poor self-esteem downward spiral by showing up. **** it, your sanity is worth too much to be wasted on that brat, let alone the tool she decided to shimmy up to.

You ICE her, and fast. Disappear. Don't call her back. Don't get upset. She WANTS that. She WANTS attention, no matter how negative it is. If she has shit at your place, drop it off NOW. Leave it on her doorstep, or give it to a mutual friend.

I have to respectfully deviate from Kyushin a bit as to what to say. First of all, if you have any mutual friends, don't talk to them unless they're really YOUR friends (not hers). Don't mention the ex at all. She's practically dead. If anyone asks, just tell them, "Oh yeah. . . well, we're not together." Be short to the point of killing that conversation right there. Telling them "I've forgotten about her" implies some sort of emotional work on your part.

Now, if you go by what Dude Kyushin and I are getting at, she WILL call you back. She'll want to know she damaged you, and you won't give her the satisfaction. Moreover, she'll still want your attention, and EVENTUALLY she will try to get to you by setting up a rendevous. . . then you hit it and quit it.

BTW, you'll want to pork the friend, but don't get into a relationship with her. She knows you're still on the rebound, and will turn. . . but only after you've Quagmire'd all over her face, and left the scene to be back in time for Sports Center.
