Default Help! hotels in Montreal for F1GP

This will be my first F1 race in Montreal and I thought 6 months before the race would be enough time to find a hotel.. NO!.. They are (from what I can tell) all sold out. We can't find anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You must make Montreal hotel reservations a year in advance for the "Grand Prix F1 Du Canada!"

You can find rooms out in the suburbs, though.

Be sure to leave your name with a couple of Montreal hotels in case they have cancellations.

Good luck!

Hey good thing your comin to Montreal. Since you said that hotels are full and they maybe are close to Ile-Notre-Dame so your second option should be to find a hotel that's far from the track so that you'll use the Metro to go there. Do you have any relatives in Montreal? If so, go at their house. If you come here, I suggest you go eat at Newtown, Villeneuve's restaurant/club. Festivities will be organized on the streets, probably on Crescent, where the Newtown's at.

Hope you find a hotel fast!

P.S.: A thread was posted a year ago in Off-Topic section about the way you should drive in Montreal. Search it.

Oh yes Sheraton, it's a hotel close to the Dorval airport. Check if they have a shuttle heading downtown.
