Default HELP! Looking for a job in the south!

Looking to relocate in the south ( Ga, Fla, etc) where it is warm...job field is web design/ animation. Does anybody have any suggestions or leads (besides the usual internet companies)?
Thanks ( I would really appreciate the help)

Do you speak other languages? -Spanish?-
If you do, consider Texas (San Antonio, for instance) I'm sure you'd find plenty of work there and the weather and city are great.
Good luck!

You could try www.nwfdailynews.com or www.emeraldcoasthelpwanted.com. The first is for the Northwest Florida Daily News website (they might have classifieds), and the other is a community job listing site. The region is generally from Pensacola to Panama City, down in the panhandle of Florida.

FLA and TX are probably your best choices. unfortunately, alabama, mississippi and louisiana are not tech savvy. either no jobs, no competitive salaries, or just nothing. engineering, petroleum, and auto manufacturing then we might talk.

hopefully this will change in new orleans over the next 5 years, but we'll see and that would be outside your timeframe

not sure about shreveport. one of our locals just graduated with and engineering degree (I think either ME or SSM) and found a job in ocean springs with gruman.

SOB- you may want to forward you resume to S2k_LA. he is connected with an ISP and web design company. he could probably give you some good leads.

Gruman (never heard of them) or Grumman, the aerospace/aeronautical company?

Thanks for the reply!

sorry Grumman.... I can either blame it on poor typing or worse spelling
