How long in jail, how much was the fine?

This was sort of anti-climatic.

From the info my friend got, he got 15 with possibility of parole. The fine was ...$64000 in theft, plus an undisclosed amount in actual fines. The parents are also being sued by newegg, as well as other websites, on top of the scammed people. That is all the info I have.

Anyone know what happened to the dip shit Joe and his family . This story was told so well...the best of times....the worst of times.

I'm dying to know how this all ended up looking back several years.

Wow, this thread is old. Well, after submitting all the info to the FBI, the merchants and the local PD, we haven't heard any news from the authorities. My friend had his money back pretty quickly, but the feds and cops didn't really get back to us. After a while, we just stopped caring. Sorry for the let down.

[QUOTE=NFRs2000NYC,Jun 4 2006, 04:32 PM] Paypal said they cannot release IP addresses unless it is to law enforcement.

Dumb NYPD cops told me that "Its not murder, you probably arent going to get any help here"

What happened to the mugshot? I'd like to see the pizza faced thug-4-lyfe kid that's gonna spend the next 30 years in jail.
I wish that was the case, watch it turn into parole after 3 months...
