ummm....maybe its just me but if your that worried you need to call the doctor instead of putting a post on a automotive forum for help......no if he had swallowed an s2000 then we could help just kidding he will be fine!!

IF it's small it'll come out. If it was a big peice then i would make sure that he's filling the diapers. I doubt he'll get a clog though.

Isn't Styrofoam petroleum based? I don't thing a small amount is harmfull but I would confirm this with a call to your doctor! good luck.

In the olden days Styro did contain arsenic and strychnine. It doesn't anymore. Kids are exposed to worse stuff just crawling around and sucking on their fingers.

did you know if you put styrofoam in acetone, it melts away?


your kid should be fine, otherwise they would put labels on all household items made of styrofoam that say "POISONOUS WHEN SWALLOWED"


which they dont...

because ppl chew on cups... and im sure coffee or other hot liquids breaks down small pieces of it, which is then ingested.
