Help on putting a indenting the lines on a poem in HTML.

Say I wanted to write a poem:

.....I like trees and all kinds of trees.
I like lots and lots of trees.
....Trees are my favorite plant.

How would I format it like that in HTML to put it on a blog?

Using an ampersand (&) followed by "nbsp;" will create a non-breaking space that can be repeated as often as you want.

I can't put the tag together because it becomes an empty space when the thread is displayed. Here it's repeated three times:
