Default Help with song finding

I have heard a relatively new song on the radio recently and I like it.
The problem is I can never find out the artist or the title.

I heard it again today and I feel that together we can figure it out.

It is a not too hard-rockish, but it most likely fits into the alternative category.

Acoustic guitar at the beginning and end. I think a band picks up in the middle somewhere.

Some of the words: "I would give eeeeeverything."

He drags the short e sound and stresses the short i sound.

That's the chorus I believe.

It's not Staind or Nickelback or 7 Mary 3 or any of the more widely-known bands.

This is really bugging me and I will be very grateful if anyone can help.

This happens to me all the time....here's a tip -- if your lucky, the radio station will have a website. Most of the big ones out here in Bay Area have one. Just search their site for a playlist. You can usually figure out the song by looking at the artist, song title, matching lines from the song/chorus, etc. Good luck!

Okay, I have one for you. What's the artist / title of the song on the new PT Cruiser Turbo commercial... It's a high pitched girls voice, singing "...when I get to where I'm going.... Maybe I'll see you".

Then some other girl starts "... it's getting serious up in here" or something like that.

Man, what an embarrasing song to like..

I think I recall

"I would give everything, to be your everything."

Maybe something about a "Car that we drive", or a "Bike that we ride".

Help me!!!!!
