warning but no ticket... welcome to the high quota holiday! I was doing 10 UNDER the speed limit because I didn't know what the speed limit was, and he still pulled me over for no front plate...

I think he liked my bathing suit...

Can they give someone from a state that doesn't have front plates a ticket? Then I have a front plate, it says "HOGS"(ark razorbacks)

I got some info on some good driving roads (read: curvy and lightly traveled) and was going to go for a jaunt today until I remembered what day it was... Holidays suck, what good is a day off if you can't go 120 down back roads?

At least you didn't get a ticket Sondra!

This freaking state only allows 6 characters to a plate, so the broom is history and may wind up with some variation on my Accord (as John David calls it, the "1st and 2nd gear chirping, pimpin ride"). New plate, on order, is: S MOO K

P.S. There are no mods on my 192,000 mile, automatic Accord, seriously. But it did chirp first and second when I redline-shifted it, and John and I were nearly in tears for laughing that it would actually do it!

Sondra,

Glad you didn't get a ticket. I think he just wanted to check you out in your bathing suit. What better reason to pull someone over.

Today's obscure reference: Are you sure the officer really was a man? Did you notice the officer's name was "E. Peel?" As in Emma Peel??!? Man, she's a long way from blower Bentleys and "The Avengers."
