I'm no doctor but it's probably just a swollen taste bud for one reason or another. Also possibly just a slight infection. I think I know what you're talking about because I've had that before too, maybe 3 times in my life.

If you're very concerned obviously see a doctor, but you may find it will subside if you just let it be and avoid biting it accidentally.
