Default Hey fellow geeks......

This season was not bad and I liked the cliff hanger to end the season. Sure a liittle bit of the hokey religion stuff and not enough crap blowing up for my taste but why was it not good enough for a season II thread?

Maybe everybody is just waiting for 24 to return.

I can't help but wonder if the current day humans are supposedly the offspring of the cylons and the humans from the colonies. It's interesting how the cylons practice monotheism, as opposed to the colonists that we are supposed to sympathize with are polytheists (not the majority in the US).

The show's producers did mention that some of the upcoming episodes of Galactica are going to really give the viewer a better perspective of things from the Cylon point-of-view. They also mentioned a lot more plot twists are coming up, from both the Colonials and Cylons.

I really liked the cliffhanger episode this season...it just sucks that we have to wait till January to see how it all turns out...

All in all, the show so far has definitely exceeded my expectations, and is IMO the best sci-fi show to come out in a while...I like how they don't focus too much on the "sci-fi, techy" side of things, and really focus on the drama/emotional/religious aspects of both the Colonials and Cylons.

I loved the way the Cylons were instantly able to start hacking into the computers as soon as they networked 3 systems!

I guess I was watching it all with the wrong perspective!!!
It is a bit easier to sympathize with the cylons when they look like the hot blonde...
