Default Hey, you want the coolest job there is?

We need another "me" at Sea Launch. Do a search on my user name for posts about what I do. Or see the Discovery Channel or Learning Channel for Specials on Sea Launch (National Geographic 1 hour special coming soon also).

In a nut shell. I handle anything mechanical related to Spacecraft to Launch Vehicle operations and Launch range operations. This is THE job if you ever wanted to be a rocket jockey.

You MUST have the following or you will get tossed.

BS Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.
Experience writing test plans and reading blueprints
Aerospace/Military background.

Info...
Sea Launch Web Page

Live Web Cam from the Stern of our Launch platform at sea on the next XM Radio launch
Sea Web Cam

Stuff I am in charge of (and the new guy will be too)

Pm for details....

that is too cool.

though the thought of spending a long time alone on a ship with mostly men (i assume the crew is mostly men) is not my idea of a good time

especially with that massive phallic symbol... who knows what wild abandon and drunken celebrations each launch inspires?!

we've all heard the phrase, "What happens on SeaLaunch, stays on SeaLaunch."

Have you read Black Wind by Clive Cussler? I expect your crew consulted on the book.

I always thought (although not the same kind of cool as your) bartending was a kicka$$ job. You make a crapload of cash 400+ cash a night, see hot chick, get hot chicks, take home hot chicks, and then come back and do it all over.

Of course you gotta get a job where all this is possible, and I thank god everyday for it!
