Wow. Just saw a commercial on TV promoting corn syrup. "Made from corn, doesn't have artificial ingredients, and like sugar is fine in moderation." (The last point said VERY indistinctly.)

i did a little research on HFCS a few years ago...based on what i saw, it's some of the worst stuff you can put in your body.

i personally check labels and try to buy foods without it too.

 

There's a reason tobacco companies are no longer able to advertise anywhere, and it's not because their campaigns were full of truths.

 

I usually have some HFCS oh forget it, i have nothing clever to add.

 

scottieboy's girl is an HFCS. Highly Fanatical .. take a guess. Too bad she does it to Serge.

 

We live in a sue happy country which will sue for anything anytime. Funny how an industry that has caused untold grieve and misery has been left untouched, they must have better lobbyists, namely the liquor industry.

 

It's increasingly harder to find any "packaged" foods that don't contain corn sweetener.

I heard that also! I don't try and consume too much of it and when I have syrup with whole wheat pancackes, I put very little of the half calorie stuff.

What sources have you looked at? I remember reading something on MSN a while back that debunked the fact that HFCS are no worse for you than sugar but I don't believe that.
