Holy shit, I thought this was from Sarasota... I remember this happening a few years ago... right down the road from me at a condo resort place.

I heard he died.. might have been another story of similiar events.. either way its pretty sad.

 

I don't find it sad at all...rather quite funny. Here's this idiot that jumps off a building and SMACKS his ass into pieces then plops into the pool. Made me chuckle.

 

It's pretty sad someone is that dumb. I don't find anything about it funny though.

 

Idiots think falling into water is like in the movies. My physics teacher told me that jumping into water over the height of 30 feet is like jumping on the cement because of the surface tension. That is why divers also have a hose or sprinkler near the platform to break the tension.

 

^^ FYI, the water sprinkling on the pool for divers is purely so they can SEE the surface of the water... not to break the surface tension.

 

well, at least he has been "calmed down" from this experience.
