I was just watching NBC 4 news, and they had a coverage on the new home of the Academy Awards located in the city of Hollywood. The city officials wanted to clean up the image of the city of Hollywood, and they felt this was a good step towards making Hollywood glittering without crime again. The reporters were interviewing people about the new facility, and people generally said "Wow!" "Nice!" "I like it!"

and then you have this tatoo parlor owner who said:

"well...I don't know man, I mean the hookers and crack addicts (pointing down the street) are gone, you know? It's just not the same anymore!"

ROFLOL

 

 

Hmmm, hookers and crack. Aren't those two of the major food groups?

 

That's pretty funny.

I just went to Hollywood and Highland over the weekend to check it out. It's a realy nice mall, but there are still some opening day problems. Some of the restaurants weren't open and the ones that were didn't all have working water. Lot's of shops and lot's of tourists. I took the subway to check it out. It was much easier than driving and parking.
