Holy S!...McGreevey's Gay!
Heard rumors of him in the past from a very reliable source so I'm not completely surprised.

i think the big deal was that he had an extra-marital affair with a man.

but i think if he was a good governor, he shouldn't have to step down. but i suppose because of the "scandal", he loses a lot of faith and credibility with people.

Personally, I could care less if someone is straight or gay. I think the big deal is that he posed as straight. Information came "out" about him having an affair with another guy. Also there is talk of pending allogations that may have prompted this.
Also, one would say he deceived voters about his image and persona. Don't want to get political about it though. I don't like him, but if there was a good candidate who was running for office that was gay, I'd vote for them. Just don't pretend to be someone you're not... a lot to ask from politicians, huh

He was going to get his with a Sexual Harassment suit, and still will by the way.
So this is damage control. Out yourself so that he can remain in office and not force an election of a new Governor in November because the state might go Republican. Hence helping President Bush

he tried having his bf close to him even though the isralei guy was not qualified for the job and got fired, and keeping him on the payroll $110,000 a year after he got fired his bf still got paid by the gov as hush up money. Poor new jersey people!
