Default Honda Commercial

Ok I know the age group that honda is trying to target with their ads but, I'm really offeneded at how they got some bald, "I have mid-life crisis" guy to represent the s2000. Am I the only one who is offended by this?

I'm probabaly blowing this out of proportion

Well if Honda think that their marketing surveys have unearthed a segment of the population called ABC1 bald mid life crisis men who are gagging to buy the S2000 then good luck to them. They've obviously decided that they can afford to offend the C2 full head of hair young men!

if you are referring to the commercial where they show a pic of a honda car and then show a pic of a person that resmebles the look of that car, then i think their whole purpose of using a bald guy is because the s2000 is "topless". a guy who has no hair on his head is also "topless". get it?? also that guy's face "resembles" the front end of the s2000 somewhat as well, and that is why they chose that guy to "represent" the s2000.

if the commercial you are referring to is not the one i mentioned above, then forget what i just said...

the bald is probably just supposed to represent the car with the top down. You know, with nothing on top, like the bald guy with no hair on top.

I'm a fifty's crisis type of guy and YES it was a crisis purchase.

To top it off, fifty is about the age when I can finally afford to spend a bunch of cash on a sports car.

Through reading the posts in S2KI, I have learned that no matter the age or income, we all have a common interest in sharing a love of a wonderful car.

We come in all age and income brackets but don't forget
that the balding fifty year old guy doesn't get as many waves from the chicks.

The cost of getting old.

If you see a balding fifty year old in a S2K, be kind and give us a wave.
