Do you mind sharing what kind of deal you got, compared to MSRP on a new one?
MSRP for the R-12X is $10,999... I paid $6,219 (included title, registration, delivery/prep) then purcahsed a cover ($180) and taxes at 6%... Basically $6,800 OTD.

My brother had one of those. Make sure you flush it extremely well after each use - his wastegate, turbo, and all sorts of other stuff got corroded after just a few salt water uses. I know he didn't flush it long enough after each use.

Just be careful out there on that.

I (still) have a 96 Polaris SLX which has nowhere near the horsepower of yours. Back in 96, my first summer owning it (and my 4th year on personal watercraft) I had a beautiful day where I was doing some top-end passes with it. It took a wave oddly, and the nose ended up plowing into the water pitching me right off the back. I hit the water face first.

Long story short, the impact from hitting the water at that speed split my face open in two places requiring fifteen stitches. It also knocked me senseless, and to this day I would not be here if I hadn't been wearing a life jacket.

I see these new musclecraft with over twice the horsepower of my craft, and I have no desire to get on them after that. Again, be safe and respect that thing

Does anyone remember the magazine ad years ago for the first Prelude vtec? In huge font, the ad read "Turbo, schmurbo" as if to say, we don't need no turbo. I'm glad to see Honda and Acura have reconsidered that position.

Thanks for the post. I love it. Wish I have enough spare time to justify buying one of these toy one day. I also don't know where to start. How is the honda compare to others popular jetski? Is this a good model?

I've been told that jetski is very thirsty for petrol. What's the fuel efficiency of this honda vehicle?
